Here is an ingenious blog I found the other day!It has creative craft ideas from objects found at the Dollar Store. It’s fabulous because who doesn’t love the Dollar store?? Here are a few ideas I found that have made it to my “someday” list.

‘Recycle’ Old Greeting Cards

Have you ever wondered what to do with old greeting cards? Maybe its just me, but I have a really hard time throwing them away. Well I recently ran into the biggest card bombardment of my life…I got married. We received a mountain of cards, and I knew there was no way I could keep them all.  I decided to keep a select few (ones that wrote a sweet note inside/ something worth reading again) and cut up the rest.  Wedding cards usually have great love poems and really cute pictures.  I store all of my “scrapings” in a box for easy access when doing projects.  They are super useful when scrapbooking of making collages. I am making a new goal for myself… Every Tuesday I’m going to introduce you to a fabulous new blog.  These are blogs that I have come across and they have made it to my bookmark folder. I have just become acquainted with this blog and I really love it.  The author Jen has really great ideas and projects.  She has a great eye when it come to photography and has tremendous ways of displaying them, whether in a  scrapbook page or framed. Check out her site and let me know what you think.

Her project here is only my project list.  It will be the perfect completion for the blank wall in my bedroom. She cut letters out of material, then framed them. Sounds super easy.  Here is how her’s turned out. I will post pictures of mine when I finish.
