Flour on your Camera?

Does anyone else out in this blogging world have flour or other food particles lounging around on your camera.  I usually don’t let it  stay there to long but my husband did once ask, “Is this icing on the camera?”. What can I say, I’m a messy cook and I am still trying to get the hang of this blogging/ tutorial business.

So last night was one of those baking nights, I’m not sure what got into me, but I just wanted to bake. I started off using a bag of sliced frozen peaches from the freezer to make peach cobbler. I found a really delicious sounding recipe for a slow cooker peach cobbler recipe. I thought that sounded great, but alas, after the measuring, mixing, and 3 hours in the slow cooker, I tasted it and my peaches had gone bad.I’m not sure how but somewhere between the slicing, freezing, thawing, cooking, the peaches went very very bad.  I know, how awful! The smell of warm peach cobbler lofting up from the kitchen trashcan was too much for me to handle, so I decided to make  something else.  This time I made something I knew would work and be just as delicious, Oreo Truffles. But these are not just any Oreo truffles these are Sugar Free Oreo Truffles. Sound too good to be true, well they are not! I will post the pictures and instruction soon, right after I get the melted chocolate off my camera!

So let me know, do you have anyway to keep your camera clean while cooking for a blog? Or do you have any great cooking catastrophes? Leave a comment, make me feel better about my new beginner cooking skills!

I’m sorry. You get your messing cooking from me but alas I was told, all the great cooks are messy cooks. Love you, Sweetie

Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.

I’m very new at this too and me and technology aren’t the best of friends… so I’m not really sure how to answer your question. Everything that is on my blog is part of the theme that I downloaded. I didn’t do anything special to it. I’m sorry I can’t help more.
